My client is an international Project ... Management Consultancy who specialise in the renovation of 5 star hotels across Europe and North Africa and need a Quantity Surveyor for their next project. The project is based in Bucharest and is the renovation of a 50 room boutique hotel to a very high standard.
The ideal candidate will come from a MEP background and will have previous experience in hotel development.
Responsibilities;
• To take responsibility, control and accountability of all aspects of the commercial, financial and contractual elements of designated projects.
• Procurement of sub-contractors to meet programme and budget, ensuring applications and valuations are completed in line with the contract terms.
• Managing and monitoring costs and cost reports.
• Deliver profitability for the region through sub-contractor selection and procurement.
• Cost planning and control and general commercial input and acumen.
• Understanding, implementing and adhering to the company SHEQ policy/strategy.

Requirements
• Experience in New Build, Refurbishment and traditional and design and build projects.
• Post graduate experience within a surveying position reporting to either a senior surveyor
• Up to date relevant knowledge of building and Health and Safety legislation.
• Demonstrates eye for detail and commitment to delivering excellent standards.
• Excellent organisational skills who can effectively manage time in order to meet deadlines.
• Professional attitude and approach to work.
• Ability to competently operate MS Office (Word & Excel).

My client is an international Project ... Management Consultancy who specialise in the renovation of 5 star hotels across Europe and North Africa. There next project is based in Bucharest and is the renovation of a 50 room boutique hotel to a very high standard.
The ideal candidate will come from a MEP background and will have previous experience in hotel development and overseeing a project from start to finish. Experience of overseeing finishing trades would also be beneficial for this role.
Responsibilities

• Management of MEP and finishing trades for the refurbishment of a hotel
• Manage the construction supervisor to facilitate delivery of construction, coordinating logistics, permitting, commissioning and handover activities to contractual technical, budget, schedule and quality requirements.
• Interface with Commercial Teams to ensure coordination and reporting is of a level that assists in the timely delivery of contract deliverables.
• Monitor works to confirm, they are being carried out in accordance the Operations strategy, standards, policies, procedures and best practices
• Liaise with the Engineering Team to assist in the execution of design solutions that promote constructability and value engineering
• Monitor and report on the performance of the construction supervisors and the contractors
• Ensure best safety practices employed during construction

Experiences

• Significant construction experience as a Project Manager on new build projects
• Experience and skills of managing major build projects.
• 10 years post graduate experience
• Preferably BSc in related subject, although not essential
• Chartered or Professional Engineer
• Fluency in French

With several manufacturing facilities throughout the world, our client easily provides temporary and permanent blast proof buildings for purchase or lease globally.

A Business Development Manager is now required to cover the Eastern European region.

Responsibilities for the role are as follows:
• Promoting, selling and exploring opportunities for company core products - Blast Resistant Buildings, Process Equipment Package
• Interfacing with clients, providing a clear interpretation of their requirements from the enquiry onset and ensure good working relationship.
• Preparation of annual business development plan for designated region in support of the company’s strategy and objectives. The plan would focus on new business opportunities within that specified region
• Identifying and visiting key clients within the region, following up projects, orders, working on tenders, applications, forecast plans, forecast revenue.
• Reviewing the tenders and quotations documents before submitting for positioning the proposal according to the customer requirements and managing projects development and implementation from instauration to closure.
• Working and interacting with application team before and during the preparation of the technical and commercial proposals.
• Planning and prioritizing personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs and sales - especially managing personal time and productivity
• Ensuring that the service provided is of the highest quality and in line with company standards
• Monitoring and reporting on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information along with current market situation and report on projects and business environment.
• Ensuring that customers fulfil all criteria of the contract such as payment, signing of agreements, guarantees and liaising with accounts department to ensure all invoices are issued and payments are received on time.
• Ensuring management is aware of all current and relevant issues
• Representing company at senior level meetings with domestic and overseas customers; attending trade fairs, seminars etc


Candidates will have:
• Excellent business acumen and enterprising skills to quickly build and sustain long term working relationships and generate positive results in line with the company policy and ethics.
• Experience of direct sales and indirect sales to the petrochemical industry within designated European region
• Experience of negotiating major high cost projects
• Experience of project tracking from FEED to procurement.
• Extensive contacts within the petrochemical and downstream markets.

Applicants will be results driven with a proven track record of growing geographical markets, introducing new clients and bringing new products to market. Ideally you will be situated within an Eastern European country and have extensive experience selling products into the downstream market.

I am currently ... working with a consultancy in Malta who are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join them. Ideally the candidate will have either multi storey new build experience or new build luxury Villa experience.
