Our client is a highly reputable main contractor delivering ... multi-million Euro projects on the exquisite island of Malta.

As a location, Malta has a wonderful attitude to work/life balance and the booming construction industry is offering an extensive list of high profile projects to be involved with.

Due to continued project awards, my client now requires a suitably experienced Cost Planner / Estimator to join their commercial team.

The main responsibilities of this role are as follows:
• Compile and maintain production rates and liaise with - Construction Manager, Site management;
• Review projects costs from accounts;
• Prepare commercial meeting provisions and attending;
• Preparation of monthly costs planner & estimator report;
• Update production rates and liaise with -Construction Manager, Site management;
• Send out price enquiries to suppliers and liaise with -Purchasing;
• Compilation of tender Bill of Quantities with costs and liaise with - Construction Manager, Quantity Surveyor;
• Review tender budget;
• Assigning the Quantity Surveyor and liaise with – Director Cost Control;
• Review of budget vs subcontractor adjudication reports and liaise with Site Manager
• Preparation of contract budgets;
• Organize the project kick off meetings;
• Compile and maintain labour cost database and piece work prices;
• Compile and maintain material cost database and liaise with - Purchasing manager;
• Ensuring that monthly requests for payment are issued for each project and liaise with - Quantity Surveyor;
• Ensuring that monthly architect’s certificates are received for each project;
• Develop the costs of claims and liaise with -Construction Manager, Site management, Quantity Surveyor
• Update project budgets;
• Identify, negotiate and settle differences between valuation and Certificates, liaise with - Construction Manager, Site Manager, Quantity Surveyor;

This role will report directly to the Director of Cost Control & Logistics.

Providing design, cost and project management services to building projects throughout the country, the organisation is a leader successful project delivery within commercial, residential, education, leisure and governmental sectors.

A Director of Design is now required to join the senior management team within the Malta office.

Individuals will be suitably experienced Architect demonstrating the ability to lead teams of between 10 and 20 designers and draftsmen. You will act as the main point of contact to clients and coordinate the delivery of projects within tight deadlines.

Our client will consider individuals relocating from Europe and will offer a salary up to €52,500.

Order Management Specialist

Our client is involved in oil and gas and offshore wind engineering, design, maintenance and inspection. For their operation in Hamburg we ... are seeking an experienced Order Management Specialist

You will support the project team in all procurement tasks associated with external contractors in SAP or P2P.
You will also act as SAP/ P2P master user for offshor projects.

Some of your typical tasks will be
Create purchase requisitions
Monitor purchase order history and service entry
Be the first point of contact with regards to all order management documents
Train and assist project team members on SAP/ P2P transactions
Be the interface between various business areas, with regards to SAP/ P2P
Coordinate the annual project accounts


Requirements:
Degree in relevant technical or commercial discipline
3+ years of experience in project management as well as order management
Experience in the use of SAP/ MM/ SRM/ FI/ CO/ PS as well as Ms Office
Some experience with SAP interface and system development will be an advantage
Good knowledge of German and English
Attention to detail

The organisation is currently undertaking responsibility for a large luxury hotel project in Brussels and an Assistant Project Manager will be.

Primarily assisting the PM with the overall management of this project, the successful individual will be responsible for:

• Information management between the project's stakeholders
• Review and analysis of submissions, design packages etc
• Production of emails, reports and notes in both English and French
• Formal communication with the client (in English)
• Organizing and attending meetings and production of minutes
• Assisting with Procurement of Works, Services and Suppliers
• Support in the management of Contractors, Consultants, Suppliers etc
• Interested individuals will be degree qualified and fluent in both English and French.

You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a methodical and analytical method.

Knowledge of hotel developments would be advantageous.
