Mission:

As the Pipeline Spread Superintendent, your primary mission is to ensure the direction of project pipeline construction activities. This involves supervising multidisciplinary construction works, both subcontracted and directly hired, to meet time, cost, quality, and safety targets. Your role includes coordinating and managing a project construction team, interfacing with subcontractors, clients, and the overall project organization.

Key Tasks:

Promote safe work practices and environmental protection, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Ensure the fulfillment of project quality and contractual requirements.

Oversee the setup of detailed schedules for direct and subcontracted works, resolving on-site issues, and optimizing resources.

Coordinate all interdisciplinary field works, supervising construction and assembly across all disciplines.

Analyze information on work progress, identify deviations, propose solutions, and prepare progress reports.

Manage interfaces with the client regarding construction activities, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.

Coordinate the execution of multidisciplinary construction activities, managing subcontractors, and ensuring milestones are achieved.

Coordinate the mobilization and demobilization of resources according to project needs.

Support interfaces with engineering departments for drawings and materials availability.

Implement recovery plans if needed, including re-planning activities and reassigning work scopes.

Ensure the implementation of temporary construction facilities.

Requirements:

Preferably a Technical High School Diploma or a background in Civil, Mechanical, or Engineering.

Fluent in English.

Familiarity with onshore pipeline construction issues, safety procedures, light lifting activities, nearshore dredging, trenching, and backfilling works.

Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
